How to Become a Celebrity Blogger

October 6th, 2009

A blog is maintained by a single person (or perhaps several if it is a group blog) for the purpose of publishing literature, personal thoughts, commentaries, photos, videos, and music. To really understand what is blogging, it is always best to begin with the etymology of the word. Blog is a contraction of a word: weblog. A blog site is also a website that has several web pages.

Blogs do not end in personal use or as online journals only. Many blogs are also used by companies as a means of reaching out to a wider social media audience. Other than this, blog sites are also used for other social media services and can also be as extensive as to allow visitors to leave their comments on the entries.

There are many bloggers out there, but you can become famous by blogging. All you have to do is have a goal in mind, a plan to get there, and the chops to get it done. The main thing is that you really need to know how to put your thoughts into words. You might have the best thoughts in the world, so you have to put them down on paper and make them accessible to others.

Well, you need to place those ideas on paper and you need to market the blog. You market the blog by creating links to it all over the Internet, telling others about it, using social networking to your advantage, and doing such other things as using Twitter and linking your blog up to your website.

You can also do such things as incorporate certain keywords into your blog so that search engines will crawl it, spot those keywords, and index it. Websites are not the only pages that come up in search engine results. Blogs do too.

So write it, market it, and watch it grow. When you establish yourself as an expert in your particular niche, you will find that people will flock to your blog. The next thing you know, you are a famous blogger that all the folks are buzzing about. It takes a lot of hard work to get there, but the point is that you can get there and you can stay there as long as you are proactive in your endeavors.

Are you really interested in driving massive traffic to your website?
